We are a small technical writing studio based in Milan, in the Tortona design district. Five writers, each with a background in both writing and a technical field. We have been doing this since 2020.
The name might seem odd for a technical writing company. It started as a bit of a joke when we were doing general copywriting work, but as we specialised in technical documentation, the name stuck. Our clients seem to like it because it is easy to remember, which is more than you can say for most agency names.
What makes us different from a general freelance writer or a large documentation company is that all of our writers have technical backgrounds. One of us studied biomedical engineering. Another worked in software development for five years before switching to writing. Two have regulatory affairs experience. This means we do not just write words. We understand what we are writing about.
Most of our work is for technology companies, medical device manufacturers, and industrial firms across Italy and Europe. We write in English and Italian, and we can arrange certified translations into other European languages through our translation partners.

Good documentation starts with good information architecture. We plan the structure before we write a single sentence.

You get everything. Markdown, DITA, Word, whatever format you need. Nothing is held hostage. Your documentation belongs to you.
